Born on April 2, 1991 in Oran, the tumultuous capital of western Algeria, Rabie Houti grew up in a Tlemcenian family.
music lover of Arab-Andalusian music. From a very young age and pushed by his parents, he joined the prestigious
Nassim El Andalouse music school in Algeria. It was within this school that he took his first steps into the world of
music, first through singing and the mandolin for 6 years then subsequently with learning the violin following the
advice from his master Belkacem Goul. His ease and unusual virtuosity propelled him very quickly within the
the senior orchestra.
In parallel with his Andalusian training, Rabie Houti has immersed himself since his youth in a wealth of styles
varied musical styles, driven by the cosmopolitan aspect of his hometown of OranSince his arrival in France in 2014, Rabie Houti, a talented musician, has continued his quest for excellence by combining his
studies in Master of Computer Science to a flourishing musical career. Within the group Grand Bal Rai, Rabie Houti plays a
key role in the creation and evolution of an innovative sound that fuses the musical traditions of rai with influences
contemporary. His remarkable artistic contribution is particularly evident during the group’s concert at the prestigious
Arabesque festival, where they offered captivating and one-of-a-kind performances.
At the same time, Rabie Houti engages in fruitful collaborations with renowned DJs. These musical alliances
allow you to explore new sounds and broaden your field of artistic experimentation, thus creating
innovative and dynamic performanceBeyond his artistic career, Rabie Houti assumes management and training responsibilities. He took charge
artistic of the Les Jeunes Voix d’Arabesques project, dedicated to the young audience of the Arabesque festival. He also integrated the
prestigious Demos project of the Philharmonie de Paris, under the direction of renowned conductor Zahia Ziouani.
Always in search of innovation, Rabie created the Al Andalus festival in 2017, where he serves as artistic director
until this day. He also founded the first Arab-Andalusian music school in Montpellier in 2016, offering
quality training for 50 passionate students.
Currently, Rabie Houti also brilliantly directs the Arab-Andalusian orchestra of Montpellier, composed of 40 musicians
talented.
Furthermore, Rabie Houti is also involved in the Zamen project. Through this project, Rabie Houti offers a vision
from his experience of Mediterranean music and traditional Arab-Andalusian music in particularThe Rabie Houti Band is the result of a passionate collaboration between five talented musicians. Originating from different
musical horizons, this collective embodies the essence of artistic fusion.

bold styles such as the oriental sweetness of revisited Arab-Andalusian tunes, the percussive energy of blues
